Almost finished Command Center

I finished organizing the Command Center after church on Sunday. I still need something to put the Cell phones into and maybe some cute labels for the cubbies. I really want this area to work for me not the other way around. Any guesses on how long it will stay this neat?

Command Center

I found a great idea from Debbie@ Virtually Organized (sorry, can't figure out the link thing yet) The Command Center. When we built our house I just had to have a desk area in our kitchen, the Perfect Command Center area. I dreamed that I would use it daily and be so organized and some how it would make my life easier, and it would make me the best mommy. It hasn't, I NEVER use it, except to pile junk up as we come in or out of the kitchen which makes me crazy! I had the builder put these cute cubbies below the cabinet, one for each member in the house with a few to spare or for the 7 days of the week (can't remember now). At the moment I can't tell you what is in them, I just stick stuff up there and leave it which just adds to the whole frustration thing. This is one of the first and last things I see when I leave the house, junk and clutter, it needs to STOP. Hopefully it will stop this weekend, but not tonight because we have a Midnight Swim, maybe Sunday after Church...oh well, Sooner or Later

Rosie

This is Rosie. I have wanted her to come live in my house for so long and she finally did! These pictures are from the first day she came to stay in my bedroom. She is just asking for attention and I must give it to her,she deserves it and I want her to be happy so she'll stay. Mr Dandy has noticed the daily addition to her wardrobe, but its just not nearly enough. I've added Hankies to make her a cute skirt, more jewels, more crosses, more ribbons and more pearls. Sooner or Later I'll finish her attire and we both will be happy.

Annie Girl and Mr Dandy

Annie Girl is our 2yr old Border Collie, she is our "Baby". She actually "Belongs" to Sweet Boy, but he doesn't mind sharing her love with the rest of us. She gives so much joy to our family. I just love to see her sweet furry face when I get home.

Mr Dandy & I have been married for 14yrs in December. He is such a wonderful father. I'm not a sappy sweet person, don't have time for sappy, but he "Completes Me". He has such a good and patient nature. Dandy is one of the funnest people I know, constantly in a good mood, and has never met a stranger. At times I think we are polar opposites, and then I realize we just make One great Team.

You know I hardly ever take the time to think about all those little things others do for us, like love us and make us smile daily. I'm a very independent person and I guess sometimes I forget this "ain't' no one man show". These people that I call my family are such Blessings in my life.

Boo Baby

This is Baby Girl, or Boo Baby, or sometimes the First*Middle*Last Name. Boo turned 8 this May. She is so much fun & at times so challenging. Some times I just don't know where she gets all her SASS. I had one of the coolest Grandmothers, although we never called her "Grandmother", my brother & I called her Jacki, but our kids called her "GREAT GREAT". She was.....beyond her time in a lot of ways(saving for latter post). Before Great Great passed away when Boo was about 20months old, I asked her one day if she was ready for the peace and quite of Heaven, she was watching Boo playing on the porch (dumping all the dirt out and total destroying Great Great's pots) she said "What could be better than this". I know what a blessing the Lord has given me, to raise and be apart of these little peoples lives. But, from that day, I realized how precious, and fleeting our time may be together, and I better enjoy & live every minute. Boo is a lot like Great Great in so many ways its scary. She brings the "Drama" right on time like clock work, she makes us all laugh, and she loves to Pray to Jesus. I may what to pull my hair or hers out occasionally, but she sure is FUN!

Rhino

For my first post I'm going to talk about my son, Rhino. We are sitting together watching the Cardinals on TV (about the only time he sits still anymore). Rhino is not the nick name I prefer, but that is what his buddies call him, I call him my "Sweet Boy". Being that he is almost 11yrs old, this information could never get out to the "guys", but he does prefer "SB". I can't tell you how blessed I've been to be given the opportunity to raise this young man. He is an outstanding little person, God lives in his heart, and I'm so Thankful for him.
